Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Seekeaze is provided by Easycom Japan Philippines Inc. ("Easycom", "we", "us"), Unit 3B Basic Petroleum Bldg., 104 C. Palanca St., Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines, telephone +63-2-8366-0747.

We decide how the personal information in Seekeaze is used, so we are its personal information controller under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

This policy covers the Seekeaze app for Android and the service behind it.

2. The short version

• We keep what you put into Seekeaze (your account, your items, your places and their photos) and the technical information needed to run the service.
• We don't track your location, we don't show advertising, and we don't sell your information.
• People you share a place with can see that place and what is in it.
• You can delete your account in the app. Everything in it is then permanently deleted within 3 days.

• Your location. Seekeaze never asks for GPS or location access. A "place" in Seekeaze is only the names and photo you give it.
• Your card or bank details. Google Play handles all payments.
• Your contacts, microphone, or an advertising ID. Seekeaze shows no advertising.
• Your date of birth or home address.
• Usage tracking. The app does not send analytics or tracking data to third parties.

The app uses your camera only when you choose to take a photo to save or to scan a share code. When it scans, it reads the code and does not save or upload the picture. It uses your photo library only to let you pick a photo or save a share code you created.

5. Why we use it

We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't profile you.

6. Who can see your information

• You.
• People you share a place with. When someone accepts your share code, they can see that place, its photo and the items in it until you remove them or stop sharing. Only share a code with people you trust with those items.
• Authorised Easycom staff, only to give you support, keep the service running, or meet a legal obligation.
• Service providers that run parts of Seekeaze for us. They may use your information only to provide their service to us:
• Google Cloud (Google LLC): database and photo storage.
• Akamai Technologies (Linode): the servers that run the Seekeaze service.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): delivering push notifications to your device.
• Our email delivery provider: sending our emails.
• Google Play, when you subscribe. Google processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
• Authorities, where the law requires us to disclose information.

We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

7. Where your information is stored

Your account, items, places and photos are stored on Google Cloud, with the database in Singapore. The Seekeaze service runs on servers in Japan. Our service providers may also process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Wherever your information is processed, Easycom remains responsible for protecting it under the Data Privacy Act.

8. How long we keep it

If the law requires us to keep a record, for example of a purchase, we keep only that record and only for the period the law sets.

9. Deleting your account

• In the app: Profile → Delete account.
• Without the app: email dp@easycom-intl.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Seekeaze account". We will confirm by email and complete the deletion within 15 working days.

When you delete your account in the app, it is closed straight away. If you sign in again within 2 days, the deletion is cancelled. After that, we permanently delete your account, items, places, photos, categories, lists, notifications, support messages and subscription records. Places you shared stop being available to everyone you shared them with.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).

10. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:

• be informed about how we use your information, which is what this policy is for;
• access the information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
• object to our use of it;
• have it erased or blocked;
• get a copy in a common electronic format (data portability);
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful use of your information; and
• complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

To use any of these rights, email dp@easycom-intl.com from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We reply within 15 working days and charge nothing.

11. How we protect your information

• All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Passwords are stored only in hashed form, and sign-in sessions expire.
• Your photos can be seen only by you and the people you share a place with.
• Only authorised staff can reach the systems that hold your information, and only for the purposes above.

If a breach of your personal information is likely to put you at real risk of harm, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of learning of it, as the law requires.

12. Children

Seekeaze is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has created an account, email dp@easycom-intl.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects how we use your information, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top.
